Rick Schwartz lives in Springfield, Virginia. He is a graduate of
    Salisbury University in Maryland.

           After waiting nearly four decades for a book on Mid-Atlantic
    hurricane history, he wrote Hurricanes and the Middle Atlantic
    States. The work is a product of nearly seven years of tireless
    research. Residents of the Mid-Atlantic states have a hurricane
    history book they can call their own.
